The Community Herb Garden was established outside the St John's Centre in 2013 by a group of herb enthusiasts with assistance from Sustainable Bury, the Suffolk Organic Gardeners and The Suffolk Herbalist aiming to inspire and educate people about the health benefits of herbs and food.

The community garden is a place to help sow, propagate and harvest plants whilst learning how they can be beneficial to your health and how to turn them into usable products, whether food or medicines.

The garden provides the local community with open access to useful plants and an opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the garden.
